As promised, this page includes adoption or foster care resources. I will be continually adding to this list as I can find additional resources. Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, “promotes the self-esteem and enriches the lives of Arizona’s children in foster care by funding social, athletic and educational activities and items that provide them with quality experiences while they live through very difficult circumstances.” http://www.affcf.org/
Helen’s Hope Chest, “provides thousands of foster youth in Arizona with quality clothing, hygiene items, school supplies, books, gifts, and more at no cost to their foster parents. To receive services, foster/kinship families just need have a Notice to Provider form and give our front desk a call at 480-969-5411 to schedule an appointment. We are now located at 126 E. University Dr. Mesa, Az 85201
Foster Kinship, “When children can’t be with their parents, they should be with their family. Foster Kinship provides Kinship Navigator Services and specialized child-welfare training on behalf of at-risk children in kinship care.
